Oh Baby Baby!
Yea so I never post here, but I should, but I don't, so get over it =P Anyhow, since the last time I posted, I've found out I was pregnant, gotten married to the love of my life, and had a baby. That's right! Abigail Kathryn Rose Matos was born on April 4, 2007 at 7:01pm. She weighed 6lb 15oz and was 19.5in long. Her visitors were Papa Ray, her two brothers Logan and Gabriel and her Mamaw (my mother). My sister never visited her in the hospital, big fucking shocker there. My stepmom was really ill so she didn't come up to the hospital. My stepsister was also very ill (my whole family has had the flu for the last month apparently and been trying to keep us from getting sick). My stepsister Kim came over a week ago and saw her for the first time. My sister still has not seen her and if the baby's still being a fussy butt she won't see her tomorrow either at my nephew's birthday party.
I'm really not concerned with my sister not seeing her. Really she only cares about herself and that's sad, but it's no loss for Abigail not to meet her. I mean, really.
Alberth is having a hard time adjusting to being a daddy of a newborn. It's cute really. I've done this twice already so the sleep deprivation doesn't affect me, but boy is it affecting him lol. Yet, he insists on waking up with her on the weekends. So, to stop him from waking up with her on weeknights, I put her in her crib. She is not sleeping in our room anymore, because any little noise she makes (most of which she does in her sleep) he gets up for. Which means he gets zero sleep, since she's constantly making noise in her sleep.
More to come later, pics are at www.matos.cc and are updated weekly almost thanks to the camera happy dad
